Speech Therapy
At Lodestar Therapy, we offer Speech Therapy Services that help individuals with diverse needs to express themselves and enjoy eating and drinking. Our Speech Therapists collaborate with you and your loved ones to assess your speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing, and provide evidence-based interventions that enhance your communication abilities, self-esteem and health. No matter what challenges you face with articulation, literacy, social skills, augmentative and alternative communication or feeding difficulties, we have the expertise and dedication to help you overcome them.

Physiotherapy
At Lodestar Therapy, we offer physiotherapy Services that help people of all ages and abilities to improve their physical health and function. Our Physiotherapists work with you and your family to assess your movement, posture, strength and balance, and provide evidence-based interventions that reduce pain, prevent injury and enhance your mobility and performance. Whether you need support with rehabilitation, exercise, equipment or hydrotherapy, we have the skills and knowledge to help you reach your goals.

Social Work & Human Services
Our social workers & human services practitioners have the knowledge, skills and expertise to provide supports at numerous levels including assistance navigating mainstream services, supported decision making, working with family and informal supports, and advocating for your needs. They work alongside you and your loved ones to facilitate your empowerment and achieve your needs, goals and aspirations. They can also assist you with coordinating or managing life stages, transitions and supports, accessing and maintaining employment or higher education and obtaining or retaining accommodation and tenancy. Our social workers are passionate about working with people with disability to enhance their independence and well-being.

Allied Health Assistants
Our Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) work under the supervision and direction of qualified allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists. Our AHAs are passionate about working with people with disability to maximise their function and achieve their goals. Typically these goals will be focused on increasing independence with daily living, functional mobility and social and community participation.
